Is booking direct actually cheaper?

Yes. The booking sites charge us commission on every reservation, and that cost is built into the rate you see there. Booking on this site removes it, so the rate here is the lowest we offer on any room.

What do I get that I don’t get on a booking site?

The lowest rate we offer, a free half pint of Beamish at the bar downstairs, and a local’s map of Cork from the desk. The half pint is for direct bookings only — show your keycard at the bar.

Can I cancel a direct booking?

Yes, free of charge, up to 24 hours before your arrival date. That applies no matter when you made the booking. Cancel inside that 24 hours, or don’t turn up, and the first night is not refunded. Group bookings of ten or more work differently — see the group bookings page.

When do I pay?

Nothing is charged when you book. Your full stay is charged to your card 48 hours before you arrive, so we can check you in quickly. A valid credit or debit card is needed to make the booking.
