Brú is at 57 MacCurtain Street, in Cork’s Victorian Quarter. It is a five minute walk from the bus and train stations.

Three ways in, all on foot.

The walk from either station is flat and it is signposted. These three routes cover almost everyone who arrives.

Train

From Kent Station

Out of the station, right onto Lower Glanmire Road and keep the river on your left. MacCurtain Street is straight ahead. Brú is on the right.

From Parnell Place

Cross the Brian Boru Bridge at the side of the bus station, walking towards Trinity Church on the hill. You’ll hit MacCurtain Street and we’re on the right-hand side.

From Cork Airport

The 225 and 226 run from the airport into the city, stopping at the bus station and then Kent Station. From either stop it is a five-minute walk. A taxi takes around 20 minutes, longer at rush hour.

If you get in before check-in, or your train out is late in the day, put your bag in a locker at reception and go and see the city. Lockers start at €1, and there are bigger ones downstairs if you are travelling with a case.

How far is Brú from Kent Station?

About five minutes on foot. The walk is flat, along the river and straightforward with a bag.

How far is it from the bus station?

About five minutes’ walk from Parnell Place, across the Brian Boru Bridge.

Is there parking at Brú?

There is no parking at the building itself. There is plenty around the city centre though, and the nearest car park is about 500 metres away, six or seven minutes on foot.

How do I get there from Cork Airport?

The 225 and 226 buses run from the airport into the city, stopping at the bus station and then at Kent Station. Between them they run every thirty minutes on weekdays and hourly on Sundays and public holidays — check buseireann.ie for times. From either stop it is a five-minute walk. A taxi takes around twenty minutes, longer at rush hour.
